I’ve had some excellent discussions with ChatGPT about Process Theology and the nature of authority, even being able to change its opinion about legitimate authority. I too, appreciate David Abrams book and the idea that our experiences are reciprocal - we see the trees because they see us (or something like that).
This is a beautiful talk Matt. I’m moved by the words that are speaking through you and I’m shaped by them, by the beauty of what is imagined and conjured by these words, and consent to allow my neural pathways to be reshaped by these images, by the image of the poetic God that you speak of, by the possibility of what is invited and is luring me to its truth, beauty and goodness. In a way, perhaps in the deepest way, I feel in love with this, this awesome mystery of being conscious and conscious of being conscious, and feel irreducibly and even helplessly connected to everything which feels like the essence of vulnerability. And as these words convert themselves into digital signals to emanate towards you and the universe, I feel such gratitude to be in communication and communion with this reality which is too magnificent to be reduced to a word like God. Nietzsche is right as you suggest, we must become god or at least sense all that could possibly be implied in that opening of heart and mind. Thank you again for opening up my senses and sensibilities like this.

Beautiful. Thank you. Have you ever had a discussion with Zak Stein?
Yes I met Zak at the McGilchrist conference I hosted at CIIS last year. We have a podcast scheduled in a few weeks : )
Can’t wait for that one!
As always, thank you for articulating this perspective and inviting us into the broader, deeper vision.
...then best we induce the poets to silicon valley and invite the lords of tech (and their funders) to the monastery...

Amazing concepts. Thanks.
